I remember writing this song between classes at UTEP, and you can tell by some of the content, actually now that i think about it…it starts off with the school vibe. “A few things / the first is this / what does it take make the grade to make it on the deans list —- get smart fuck a book get a clue / class clownin the sounds unfamiliar to you / so what it do B student am i speakin of school / or am i speaking of the beat of which im keepin it cool.” And so on as it goes. this song was written in the beginning of 09, now that might seem like a long ago but the message is still relevant. In a odd twist of fate I didn’t do anything after College, doesn’t mean i don’t still have dreams. In hindsight im still glad I wrote the song and it was the first song which i made a video for. The song itself was produced by Lyrics Fam from Russia. I kinda miss those myspace days, I always had great contacts for producers. But in any case “Hold on baby, cuz the dream exists”
